Biography
I live and work in New York and Vieques, PR. My early writing, teaching, and advertising careers ended when I fell in love with painting and printmaking. First I created Swan’s Way, a book of collages etchings based on the myth of Leda and the Swan, and then sketched the still animals in the Natural History Museum. I also made silkscreens and lithographs of endangered birds. I currently make large paintings of trees on a graphite- and cement-based medium. I received a Columbia University MFA (2007) and have had group shows at Andre Zarre Gallery, Leroy Neiman Gallery and Nabi Gallery. My art can be seen at LooCart in NYC and long Island.
